We aim to provide a quality service, matching interpreter to client by
gender and by religion, where possible.
The service is confidential.
Many of our Interpreters hold the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting
(DPSI) and are included on the National Register of Public Service
Interpreters - although these may not be available in some instances, for
rare languages or some dialects.
We can provide a wide range of interpreting services, from court and
custodial services to accompanying-assistants for business trips,
trade-fairs and exhibitions. All of our professional and experienced
interpreters have a general awareness of the language and are culturally
sensitive. We can also provide commercial interpreters who possess a
technical knowledge of the particular industry, and business negotiating
skills.
Face to Face Interpreting
If you are able to plan interviews in advance, Face to Face interpreting
can be the most effective way of ensuring that difficult issues can be
fully addressed. A to Z Interpreting & Translation Services
interpreters can be booked well in advance of those meetings that you
anticipate being complex and time consuming. Should you anticipate that
cultural differences might pose particular difficulties, we can select an
interpreter by subject specialisation or gender to help address the
specific issues.

Telephone
Interpreting
Our telephone interpreting facilities are available to both public sector
and private sector organisations. Unlike our competitors we DO NOT apply
management charges and we simply charge by the minute at a standard rate,
whether you are a frequent or infrequent user of our service.

British Sign
Language Interpreters

Around 50,000 people in the country use British Sign Language (BSL). It is
a rich and complex visual language with its own grammar and idioms and is
quite different from spoken languages. It uses precise handshakes, lip
movements, facial expressions, gestures and body movement to convey
meaning. Sign language interpreters pass messages from deaf BSL users to
English and vice versa. They have to listen to, or watch the message,
extract the meaning and then find the appropriate way to express the
message in the other language.
All our BSL interpreters are CRB cleared, have attained a minimum of NVQ
level 4 in interpreting BSL, are registered with ASLI and therefore adhere
to their code of conduct.
Translation
Services
We can provide translations in all major
language combinations covering a wide variety of subject matters, ranging
from technical manuals, to sales brochures, business reports, marketing
papers and scientific or literary texts.
We can do sworn translations, translate from tapes, translate and dub films
using mother-tongue speakers.

Text To Speech
Often, a quick verbal summary of a
document’s contents provides the ideal solution. Fax or e-mail your non
–English documents to us and we will get an interpreter on line to help you
understand it and extract the information that you need-quickly and
accurately.
For longer documents we recommend a full translation. This service is
extensively used by those providing healthcare services where medical records
are often delivered in the language of the patients’ country of origin;
text to speech enables a rapid and flexible response.
Out Of Hours
Service
A to Z interpreting service can offer a
very comprehensive and competitive 24hr service and can accommodate the
extended GP surgery hours or that late night call to the police station.
Our out of hours service is 6.00pm to 8.00am.
